William Walker, Vose, and Hazeldale Elementary were all rebuilt as part of the District’s $680 million construction bond. The bond was approved by voters in May of 2014, which included the construction of the new Sato Elementary school. As part of the bond, Sato Elementary was designed as a prototype for the other three elementary schools. The Beaverton Sister Schools each share the same design in an effort to save money for the Beaverton School District.
