Reynolds High School
Summary
Serving over 2,800 students each year, Reynolds High School is a staple to the Troutdale community. Alongside Pence Construction, Hydro-Temp Mechanical had the privilege of helping bring both new construction footage and existing campus renovations to the beautiful school. New Administration and Counseling offices were constructed, bringing together the existing main campus building and the adjacent gymnasium and athletic center. New high-efficiency condensing boilers, air handlers, and smart controls throughout bring heat and comfort to the 35,000sf addition. This new addition now serves to tie the main building with the once remote vocational buildings through halls lined with dozens of science classrooms. This new wing of the campus houses education focused on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Beyond that, completely renovated kitchens, culinary arts, and common spaces bring further education and life skills to the youth at Reynolds High.
Major work of this demo, remodel, addition took place over a project schedule very similar to North Salem’s proposed phasing. Preconstruction services, including site investigation and early gas line renovations, were executed with LCG Pence to keep the project completed in budget and on time. This project flourished while construction activities and normal school activities coexisted in the occupied building.
