Hydro-Temp Mechanical specializes in HVAC and Plumbing for commercial entities. HVAC refers to technology of indoor environmental comfort within a building. Our professional and dynamic field crews put much time and effort into creating, transporting, and installing quality systems. Hydro-Temp has been doing these commercial services since 1985.
Design-Build is the deliverable method in which owners team up with Hydro-Temp Mechanical to complete both design and construction. We use BIM (3D modeling) for our inhouse designs and integrate this into the review with owner and A/E team members as well as carrying over into construction.
Construction management refers to the overall, from start to finish, production of a project. This includes planning (bidding, quotations, and design-build), coordination, and control. Hydro-Temp Mechanical also prioritizes safety throughout the project process for all workers. In addition, we keep the cost at a minimum for our customers.
Not only are we able to plan and build from the ground up here at Hydro-Temp, but we are also available for repairs, replacements, and maintenance as well. Whether it is a remodel, or just a simple replacement, Hydro-Temp has the tools and resources to get the job done.
More About Hydro-Temp Mechanical
Environmentally Friendly Focus
As a company we utilize as few diesel trucks as possible, and when we do, we utilize the most emissions efficient available. We do not use diesel powered equipment onsite. In addition to this we have 6 electric/hybrid vehicles, electric forklifts and we have an Electric PV array on our office and shop that makes us net zero on electrical usage for the site. This is how committed we are as a company to the environment and minimizing the impact we have on it. For recycling onsite and at our prefabrication facility we sort as much as possible ahead of time. We also utilize mixed stream recycling to divert the rest from landfill where possible.
Hydro-Temp has been a LEED accredited team member on many projects in Oregon and Southwest Washington. We have been a team member on 40 LEED projects in the last 3 years alone. Additionally, we completed one of the first LEED projects in Oregon, “Clean Water services administration” which was LEED Gold in 2003. We have played a major role in design & budget, building, and commissioning complex systems, especially in education buildings.
Due to the quantity of LEED work we perform, it has become the standard of how we build. We excel in bringing alternate solutions to the team. These techniques help us realize LEED credits that are available but unknown to the team. Through stringent tracking and communicating of standards needed to achieve LEED credits as well as the introduction of additional credits, we have had several projects that in the end make a higher level of LEED than what was planned.
