Sam Barlow High School Addition & Renovation
Summary
HydroTemp is proud to have been a RFP selected Core Team member to develop & detail the mechanical scope on a very tough remodel with a significant STEM addition. This project consisted of a 63,000 sqft 2-story science addition, wide connector hallway, full renovations of classroom wings, auditorium, band & choir, metal & wood shops, culinary arts, library and administration areas. Working through a phased renovation of the occupied High School we were able to reduce scope by $2.2M due to budget issues while maintaining programming and also achieving an added D/B domestic water repipe and FanWall replacement to provide now safe drinking water for the students and annual energy savings approaching 6 figures with the new fans & related controls.
