University of Oregon College of Education Renovation
Overview
The University of Oregon College of Education Renovation consisted of three projects; a new 66,000 square foot three story building on top of a 47,000 square foot parking garage, three historical renovations, and a remodel of the CSB building. These renovations brought the College of Education annex into the 21st century in terms of mechanical, plumbing, and other systems. The mechanical systems were custom indoor air handlers with VAV reheat. It utilized hydronic heating and cooling which was fed via tunnel from the central utility plant while the plumbing utilized solar hot water heating for energy efficiency.
